KISEN's name comes from the company's name, "Kisen," which has been around since its founding over 75 years ago. The name reflects our desire to create and deliver products that add joy and enrichment to people's lives. KISEN was born with the desire to evolve the idea that has continued since its founding and deliver it to modern lifestyles. We add soft ideas to tradition and technology, and utilize metals with free ideas to create products that offer fresh excitement and new value. Our Story
Yotsukawa Seisakusho is an art copperware manufacturer that has continued for generations in Kanaya-cho, Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture, the birthplace of Takaoka casting. The company's name at the time of its founding, ``Kisen,'' reflected the desire to add joy and tranquility to life, and that desire continues to be reflected in all of its products. Currently, we are developing three brands: ``Kisendo'', which sells traditional Takaoka copperware such as incense burners and vases, ``KISEN'', a lifestyle brand that sells tableware and interior decoration, and ``KUON'', a healing and prayerful interior design brand. We are familiar with the characteristics of each craftsman and factory of Takaoka Copperware, which is based on a division of labor system, and develop products that utilize traditional techniques and metals with flexible ideas.
