ACACIA WOOD has a distinct contrast in color, with a dark brown center and a white outer layer. We embrace these as inherent characteristics of the wood itself, aiming to use the raw materials efficiently and conserve limited resources. Furthermore, due to the handmade nature of the product, there may be slight variations in size and shape. Please enjoy the individual differences inherent in the material and the unique character of each piece, which cannot be found in mass-produced items.
Precautions
Wood is a living material that constantly breathes, and is significantly affected by external temperature and humidity, causing it to expand and contract repeatedly. Changes in climate and environment can cause expansion and contraction, which may result in warping, cracking, and gaps. Please understand that due to the nature of wood, some pieces may have slight warping. Also, in order to use natural materials without waste, we use materials that have knots and cracks characteristic of wood. Products using solid wood may have variations in color depending on the part of the wood used. Because we keep woodworking to a minimum, resin may seep out and cause color transfer. Please be especially careful as resin is more likely to seep out when the temperature and humidity rise. Avoid direct sunlight and direct exposure to air conditioning or heating fans. This can cause deformation such as warping, discoloration, and rot. We recommend cleaning with a dry cloth. Wiping with water may cause color transfer. As all items are handmade, there may be slight individual differences in size, color, and finish, but please enjoy the unique texture that cannot be found in mass-produced items.
