A basket I learned to weave from my grandmother
Founded in 1886 in Kurashiki, Okayama Prefecture, Toru Sunami Shoten manufactured mats made from rush grass. Currently, Takataka Sunami, the fifth-generation owner, hand-makes baskets one by one using the weaving technique he learned from his grandmother. The baskets, woven from rush grass ropes, are very strong. Please use them every day as a daily tool.
DENTO original storage basket
DENTO's original "handle-less" storage basket. Suitable for use in living rooms and bedrooms, it is useful for organizing magazines, towels, and daily necessities. The lack of handles gives it a simpler appearance and makes it blend in with the space. Another attractive feature is that it can be stacked with other sizes. This is an item recommended for those who value both storage and design.
I love the changes that occur over time that only natural materials can offer
"Igusa" is the raw material for tatami mats. As you use it, it will become soft to the touch and turn a rich brown color. The more you use it, the more it will develop its own unique texture and you will grow to love it.
Three sizes to choose from

*It is made by hand using natural materials, there may be distortions in the shape, differences in color and size, etc. There may be cracks, splinters, thorns, knots, unevenness, black spots and spots, etc.
